The Board of Royal Bafokeng Sports Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Floyd Mbele as Managing Director of the company.
The Board of Royal Bafokeng Sports (Pty) Limited (RBS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Floyd Mbele as Managing Director of the company.
Mr Mbele joins RBS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Bafokeng Holdings, with effect from 1 September 2011. He will be based at the RBS offices in Phokeng.
Mr Mbele’s qualifications include Proficiency in Sports Management, a Master Trainers’ Course and a Level 1 Football Coaching Course. He recently completed an Advanced Management Programme at the Wits Business School.
Mr Mbele brings to RBS a wealth of experience as a football administrator. His career in football started with the South African Football Association in 1999 where he worked as a Competitions Co-ordinator or League Manager and, later, as Youth Affairs Manager. His last position before he joined RBS was with Orlando Pirates Football Club where he worked as an Administrator from January 2006 until July 2011.
RBS is delighted to have a person of Mr Mbele’s calibre joining the executive team.
