Shareholders are advised that SACMH has today signed a Heads of Agreement with Fraser Alexander (Pty) Limited relating to a strategic partnership.

Fraser Alexander, effectively 100% owned by Royal Bafokeng Holdings (Pty) Limited, provides bulk materials handling, construction and tailings management services across a number of industries.

In terms of this Heads of Agreement, Fraser Alexander will be SACMH ’s strategic services partner, providing materials handling and beneficiation services to SACMH through its “Bulk Mech” division. The strategic partnership will pertain to both current SACMH operations and future coal mining opportunities.

Fraser Alexander will enter into a new contract to supply various services to SACMH for the expansion of the existing mines and new mining and logistics projects. The terms of the material handling and beneficiating contract will be the same or more favourable than the existing contract that SACMH has with Mkhulu Resources (Pty) Limited

A key requirement of this strategic partnership is that both parties consistently embrace sustainable operations in relation to prioritising safety, environmental responsibility, regional community upliftment and skills development.

Karl Gribnitz, CEO of SACMH said:

“We are confident that this strategic partnership with a leading materials handling and beneficiation services provider will give us the conversion capacity to aggressively pursue growth opportunities in the coal mining industry.”
